Matthew is an author and comedian who lives in a lovely suburb called Ryde, in Sydney, Australia. He has an honors degree in Mathematical and Computer Sciences and a Graduate Diploma of Education, which he has put to good use in his work training for multi-national corporations. He is a recent graduate of the Australian School of Comedy and has performed regularly on radio and contributed to The Australian newspaper.

He has used his extensive knowledge of mathematics and computers to write his first book 'Extinction Event'. It is a unique look at a not unfamiliar planet from the point of view of archaeologists and a TV crew, trying to discover how and why an ancient civilization became extinct.

He is now writing his second book (as yet untitled) that uses ideas from quantum mechanics as the basis for a humorous and quirky tale about the small things in life.  As well as working on the publishing of his first book, and the writing of his second, he is also developing a Java curriculum and associated text books to help de-mystify the world of Java programming for beginners.  You might also catch him out and about doing comedy.  (check out the events page for more details on where he is due to appear next).
